John Mojzisek, PhD, LCPC
John Mojzisek, aka Dr. Mo, is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) with a BA in Psychology from the University of Notre Dame, an MA in School Counseling and a PhD in Pastoral Counseling from Loyola University Maryland where he served for over a decade as an Affiliate Professor of Counseling for graduate students in Education and Pastoral Counseling. He has been licensed by in the state of Maryland since 2002.
After more than 30 years working in schools, including the Institute of Notre Dame, Calvert Hall College High School, the University of Notre Dame, the Gilman School and Loyola University Maryland with middle school, high school, college and graduate students, Dr. Mo knows boys and the culture of Independent and Catholic schools especially well. Counseling in a variety of schools as well as years as a therapist in private practice, have given him unique skills and experience with a diverse range of adolescent challenges such social and emotional development, ADHD and learning differences, substance and technology abuse and addiction, anxiety, stress, depression, identity exploration, grief and loss, as well as school and family transition and conflict.
